According to a recent online report, EA Sports College Football is rumored to launch on July 12, 2024. However, some conflicting information from other sources suggests the date might not be entirely accurate. Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting its return after a decade-long hiatus. Formerly known as NCAA Football, EA Sports announced the return of college football games back in 2021 for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

However, Matt Brown of the Extra Point newsletter claims that two of his sources from EA have declined to confirm the precise date. Still, Brown asserts that July is the target release month from what he has heard, «so this could be correct.» EA Sports has also responded to the rumors, simply stating that an official release date announcement has yet to be made.

Historically speaking, early to mid-July is a solid guess when it comes to a potential release date for EA Sports College Football. Madden typically targets a mid-August launch, so July would give the publisher ample time between releases.
