Rumor: Nintendo Could Have a Surprise for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s First Anniversary

As Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will celebrate its first anniversary this May, Nintendo is allegedly planning a surprise for fans to mark the occasion. While Nintendo didn’t have any big plans for The Legend of Zelda 35th anniversary, the company will still give fans a little surprise to commemorate the first year of Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out on May 12, 2023. Tears of the Kingdom was a massive commercial success, selling over 10 million copies three days after its release. This latest installment in The Legend of Zelda series quickly became one of the best-selling games on Nintendo Switch, with fans sharing their adventures across Hyrule and the custom vehicles they built to roam through this land.

The Legend of Zelda series has always been praised for its soundtrack, and Tears of the Kingdom is no exception. Ocarina Of Time has one of the best game soundtracks of all time, with Zelda's Lullaby and the Gerudo Valley theme considered by fans as staples when it comes to game music. To highlight the importance of music in the Zelda series, Nintendo featured a nod to the previous games of the franchise in Tears of
