Rumor: Call of Duty 2024 Reveal Could Be Happening Sooner Than Expected

The 2024 Call of Duty game may receive a reveal as early as this month, some newly emerged evidence suggests. The upcoming title is expected to be another entry in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series.

New installments in Activision's hit FPS franchise have historically been treated to summer reveals. This tradition continued with the latest entry in the series, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was officially announced in August 2023.

But that ownership change would ostensibly be unrelated to this potential deviation from the series' standard announcement schedule. A more likely explanation for why Activision might already have something to showcase in spring instead of waiting until summer is that the 2024 Call of Duty reportedly had an extra year of development compared to most other contemporary
