In a post on X, Liefeld first touted Deadpool and Wolverine's action sequences, writing, «I've been telling everyone how great this movie looks and it’s the BEST action since Winter Soldier. The car fight! Forest fight! The ********** fight! It’ll be up there with the best Comic Book Film of all time!» Liefeld then shared several X posts by other users who spotted the reference to him.
