Recently Leaked New Team Shooter By Valve May Be Steam's Next Huge Hit

2024 hasn't exactly been the biggest year for PC gaming releases or announcements, with massive 2022 and 2023 gaming releases eclipsing this year's offering in a big way so far. Other than the more highly anticipated DLC release, there hasn't been much in store for fans of gaming, and that goes doubly so for any competitive team-based PC games. Luckily, that might change soon with recently leaked footage of Valve's most recent team shooter.

As posted by PlayerIGN on X (formerly Twitter), the next game that Valve is allegedly working on looks to be a 6v6 third-person shooter MOBA called . From the look of the short video, it seems like the game is actually fairly far along, with a relatively wide character roster, at least one completed level, and working in-game mechanics.

The leaker & data miner who posted the video footage has made correct predictions in the past with games like , but the veracity of these most recent leaks has yet to be confirmed. That said, other publications like have also picked up the story and claim to have insider knowledge that there are currently 19 different heroes and that the game will be an MOBA with different classes, seemingly confirming the video leaks.
