Real-Life Map of Planet Earth Looks Straight Out of Red Dead Redemption 2

A Red Dead Redemption 2 fan has noticed a world map of planet Earth that is available in the style of the map from the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 continues inspiring fans around the world, and this map is a cool way to blend Rockstar's fictional world with the real one.

As one of the most popular games of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 has no shortage of incredible fan creations. Gamers worldwide love to show their adoration for titles in many different ways. Sometimes, these tributes even bleed into other games, like the Red Dead Redemption fan who created a John Marston skin for Minecraft. It's incredible that gamers are still finding new ways to pay tribute over five years since the game was first released, with this world map managing to be both cool and practical at the same time.

Redditor _lippykid posted an image of the map, with a link to it on Mapbox. It looks exactly like the map in Red Dead Redemption 2, but instead of the small game world, it covers all of planet Earth. Every detail, down to the individual homes on every street, is covered. Different locations have small round icons, just like they do in the game, too. Given the sheer scale of it, it seems to be pulling from map data already available from OpenStreetMap with a Red Dead Redemption 2 skin, but that doesn't make it any less impressive.

Sadly, the map, named «New Western» on Mapbox, does not indicate who the original creator is, but they deserve huge props for this amazing creation. Gamers in the thread showed plenty of love for the map, with one user even wanting a print showing their home city of Glasgow. Another Redditor was slightly concerned, asking, «Why is there a bounty marker on my house?» Others took the opportunity to find out how cities with varied terrain to those in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2look in this style, with the canals of Amsterdam looking «awesome,» in the words of one user.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has plenty of life left in it yet, although that hasn't stopped
