Real-Life Helldivers 2 Bug Shows The Creature In Terrifying Detail

One creative fan is likely to give players of the game nightmares thanks to an incredibly detailed Charger model they shared on Reddit. has been a popular game among many people since its release on February 8, 2024, even reaching popularity across many social media platforms. has a heavy emphasis on teamwork and cooperation, which makes it stand out above other similar games. It's also become quite a popular game for fans to joke around about, oftentimes sharing the call to spread democracy and freedom from the Terminids and Automatons.

Redditor CodyOwensArt posted an image of their bug model to the subreddit, showing the Charger in all of its terrifying glory. They mentioned in the comments that they had 3D printed and painted the model and the scene surrounding it. The fan-made Charger model is a gruesome scene with a few skeletons scattered about.

The detail on the entire model makes it feel as though it could be the real thing, though significantly smaller than the in-game foes. The Helldiver shared that painting the model took around two hours, using a variety of painting styles, and the print itself took close to six hours. They also said that they were planning on adding more bugs and creating an entire battle scene to go along with this one.

Chargers have given players a lot to talk about and often have been the source of some pretty incredible clips mirroring an iconic '90s movie because of their similarities to the enemies seen in the cult-classic film. Chargers have also earned a reputation of their own because of how brutal their attacks can be and how difficult they are to take down. Seeing this model caused many Helldivers to shiver, reliving their hard-fought battles for Super Earth and the friends they've lost along the way, but also lit a fire under them to return to the battlefield and dish out some liberty.
