Next year, Pokemon Legends: Z-A will take trainers back to Lumiose City in the Kalos region, the setting of Pokemon X and Y for Nintendo 3DS.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A was the final announcement for the February 27 Pokemon Presents showcase, surprising many fans with a return to Generation 6. In this new and ambitious Pokemon Legends entry, an urban redevelopment plan is underway in Lumiose City. The ultimate goal of this plan is to turn the city into a place where people and Pokemon can both belong in harmony. The Pokemon Company has not shared any more details about Pokemon Legends: Z-A yet, but the game may be linked to a new discovery in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Reddit user KyleLaverre recently spotted signs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet that use the same script found within the Pokemon Legends: Z-A reveal trailer. The script on the first sign is an identical match to the one that teases the Lumiose City redevelopment plan in the trailer, and fans believe that the plan itself may be conducted by Paldea Realty, a major real estate company in the Pokemon universe. As a result, fans believe the Paldea Realty company will be prominently featured in Pokemon Legends: Z-A as it redevelops Lumiose City and creates new facilities.

KyleLaverre's discovery garnered the attention of hundreds of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players, and many are theorizing about the possible implications of the Paldea company's involvement in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. However, some fans point out that the script means «Urban Development Plan» in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and «Paldea Realty Flagship Building» in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so it's possible that the script may just be generic placeholder text. Nonetheless, a majority of the players in the Reddit thread are still leaning more into the belief that a
