Pokemon GO Players Aren’t Happy With World of Wonders Taken Over Event

Some Pokemon GO players are currently unhappy with the lack of interesting rewards in the current World of Wonders Taken Over event. This latest Pokemon GO event has just started, and it will continue until March 31.

Pokemon GO was released back in 2016, quickly becoming a huge hit, and maintaining its success over the years. Earlier this year, Pokemon GO had a major annual revenue drop, but it’s still pretty successful when compared to most mobile games with its longevity. However, this success does not prevent some players from feeling annoyed by some aspects of the popular title.

In a post that received over 1,500 upvotes, a gamer called Entire_Pineapple4732 recently complained about the rewards of the new World of Wonders Taken Over event. Events often come with unique bosses and special research tasks in Pokemon GO, and some players are disappointed about the prizes related to the new Team Go Rocket leaders. In Entire_Pineapple4732’s case, the player was upset that not even Pseudo Legendary monsters were available for beating them. According to them, the most useful creature available was the Shadow Machamp, which could be gained by defeating normal grunts.

As can be seen in the comments of the post, other players were also displeased with the lack of unique rewards. Unfortunately, the rewards of this current event are not everything that players dislike in Pokemon GO right now. Recently, Pokemon GO players have noticed a decrease in Revive drops from the game’s raids and PokeStops. While the change was not officially announced by Niantic, it was perceived by several players, who complained that this made raids more difficult, as they had several downed Pokemon in their storage, and that this imbalance essentially wiped out their supplies of Revive.
