A Pokemon GO player has defied the odds and captured a Galarian Zapdos using the Pokemon GO Plus+ accessory. Galarian Birds are some of the most desired creatures by Pokemon GO players. But getting a Galarian Bird isn't easy, with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres having rare appearances and even less frequent captures.

When Pokemon introduced the regional forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, the legendary trio from Kanto received significant type and design changes. Reddit user AussieRustles revealed that they caught a Galarian Zapdos using the Pokemon GO Plus+ accessory. With the caption «It can be done,» the player says that to get the Pokemon they didn't need a berry, nice throw, or curveball, and only used a regular Poke Ball to bring Galarian Zapdos home. With that, the OP also got a Galarian Zapdos that knows Counter, considered one of the best skills for Legendary Pokemon, making the already rare encounter an even more unique experience.
