Pokemon GO Details Rivals Week Event

Pokemon GO has just revealed new details regarding the game's Rivals Week update releasing in May. The new event will task Pokemon GO players with battling other players as well as engaging in various timed research tasks for extra rewards and special items, with certain Pokemon having increased spawn rates during the event.

Players can expect to receive 10 XP from spinning Photo Discs at Pokemon GO Gyms as well as double the Catch Candy. Players will also have greater chances of encountering wild Pokemon like Zangoose, Seviper, Throh, Sawk, Heatmor, and Durant.
