Pokemon Fan Designs Adorable Dessert-Themed Version of Litwick

A creative and artistically talented Pokemon fan is on the receiving end of attention from hundreds of others thanks to their imaginative dessert-themed version of Litwick. The spooky yet adorable Pokemon, which has been transformed from its usual candle-like self into a cupcake, is capturing the adoration of Pokemon fans from around the world.

Introduced as part of the fifth generation of the Pokemon series, Litwick is a dual-type Ghost/Fire Pokemon which evolves into Lampent at Level 41 and eventually into Chandelure when exposed to a Dusk Stone. The trio of life-draining Pokemon can be found in the series' latest entries, with Pokemon Scarletand Violet players able to evolve Litwick and Lampent with relative ease.

The adorable fan-made artwork in question comes from a Reddit user called MunchyKu, who posted their cute creation to one of the site's primary Pokemon forums. As far as body shape, the dessert version of Litwick remains just about entirely unchanged, save for a few curve tweaks. The melted wax covering Litwick's head and eyes has been cleverly replaced by pink frosting and sprinkles, with the remaining body given the color and appearance of a cake. Rather than just a wick upon its head, the dessert version is given a birthday candle, tying the entire design together.

Litwick's delectable redesign is clearly a hit with the Pokemon fan masses, as the post has garnered nearly 1,000 upvotes within just hours of being posted. Comments on the artwork seem universally positive as well, with fans suggesting it be a dual-type Fairy/Fire and that it «needs» to become a regional variant. The birthday cupcake version of Litwick is currently the latest in a series of dessert-themed Pokemon redesigns by the artist.
