Pokemon Fan Art Imagines Impressive New 'Pseudo-Legendary' Evolution for Seadra

A Pokemon fan has recently created a new evolution for Seadra inspired by the design of the Legendary creatures in the franchise. The Pokemon community loves creating so-called Fakemon, and coming up with original evolutions for classic creatures or reimagining them with interesting tweaks are fairly popular ways of doing it.

Seadra is a Water-type Pokemon from the first generation of Pokemon games. This creature is greatly inspired by seahorses, and it evolves from the tiny Horsea at Level 32. Starting from Pokemon Gold and Silver, players were able to evolve Seadra to Kingdra by trading it while equipping a Dragon Scale on the creature. Now, however, a gamer decided to give Seadra an even more powerful, mythical form.

A Pokemon fan called In-ProgressPokemon has recently shared a “pseudo-legendary” evolution for Seadra called Poseidra. This new creature, whose name is inspired by the Greek sea god Poseidon, is a Water/Dragon-type Pokemon like Kingdra, but it leans even more heavily on draconic aspects than its official counterpart. While the Pokemon still looks like a seahorse, it now has dragon wings, as well as reptilian scales on its head and tail. In-ProgressPokemon also devised a shiny form for Poseidra, which has white scales and another tone of blue as its colors.

This was a pretty creative endeavor with quite a distinct feel when compared to the classic Vaporeon. Instead of gaining fish scales, Reefeon had its visuals inspired by coral, looking like a green Eevee with coral pieces attached to its back, head, and tail.

Last year, In-ProgressPokemon devised several unique Halloween Eeveelutions called Spookeon, Candeon, Pumpkeon, Witcheon, Vampeon, Howleon, Mummeon, Swampeon, and Cerbeon. These designs were distinct takes on Eevee, giving the popular creature some new forms that
