Pokémon Day 2024 - When It Is, What's Confirmed, & What To Expect
Pokémon Day, the franchise’s annual celebration, will soon be capturing the minds of people around the world once more. As ’smost exciting annual eventPokémon Day 2024 is expected to bring a slew of new announcements and commemorative surprises, and, as such, is the focus of much speculation. In addition, some aspects of 2024’s lineup have already been confirmed, further increasing the excitement for this highly anticipated event.
Past Pokémon Day announcements have included everything from the reveal of new titles to special promotional events and merchandise. For example, as part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary in 2021, a virtual concert featuring Post Malone was announced. Prior to this, as part of the inaugural 2016 Pokémon Day, the were announced to the world, beginning a trend for similar announcements of and in subsequent years. Pokémon Day celebrates the day of the original 1996 release of the franchise’s versions in Japan. As such, Pokémon Day is celebrated on February 27 every year, and Pokémon Day 2024 is no different. It should be noted that no details have been given of a Pokémon Presents or Pokémon Direct digital broadcast on the day as yet. However, considering the usual content of past Pokémon Days, one is almost certain to be part of the day’s proceedings and will most likely be announced closer to the time.
