Pokemon Concept Imagines Gen 2 and 5 Black Gold and Silver White Remakes

A Pokemon fan's incredible illustrations provide a glimpse of theoretical crossover remakes between the series' second generation games, Pokemon Gold and Silver, and Generation 5's Pokemon Black and White. The mockups were shared online, where they received praise and sparked a discussion on what remakes of the titles would actually look like based on past releases.

Community members praised EliteRobo04's mockups for Pokemon Black Gold and Silver White, which included character sprites and even covers for physical releases on the Switch. The illustrations were so well done that some Reddit users believed them to be real. Others discussed what they thought remakes of Pokemon's second and fifth generation games would look like. One community member claimed that their hopes for a proper Generation 5 remake
