PlayStation’s annual Days of Play sale reportedly returns this month

PlayStation’s annual Days of Play sale will reportedly return next week.

The promotion, which the platform holder has been running for a handful of years, usually features discounts on PlayStation hardware, software and services.

Notably, on several occasions it has featured some of the biggest discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions, such as 30% in 2020 and 25% off last year.

Writing on Deadlabs, ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun said they expect Days of Play 2024 to kick off on May 29 and run until June 12.

According to the same source, God of War Ragnarök will likely be announced for PC this month.

Sony is reportedly planning to hold a PlayStation product showcase in May, which could also feature Silent Hill 2, among other titles.

May’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles were released on Tuesday. They include Red Dead Redemption 2, Deceive Inc., Crime Boss: Rockay City, 2Xtreme, G-Police and and Worms Pinball.

PlayStation London Studio officially closed its doors this week after 22 years, as part of wider restructuring announced by Sony in February.

The Soho, London-based studio was best known as the creator of the SingStar franchise, which sold over 20 million units across PS2 and PS3.
