Valve says 'we've decided to draw a clear line' and bans Snap Tap keyboard automation from Counter-Strike 2

Valve has made a bold decision with its latest update to Counter-Strike 2, and one that is something of an about-turn on previous attitudes. A client update has announced certain forms of scripting popular in Counter-Strike will now be detected and banned, essentially putting an end to automated inputs that some players use for actions such as jump-throws of grenades and counter-strafing. Yes sir, the tears are delicious.

Black Myth: Wukong has some bonkers streamer guidelines about not using the game to spread 'feminist propaganda' or discuss anything about China

Black Myth: Wukong releases tomorrow and is really rather good. As PCG's Tyler Colp said on his way to awarding it a handsome 87% in our review, «these animals may not have thumbs, but they sure have hands.»

The British entrepreneur Mike Lynch is among six people missing after a superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily during a storm. Borderlands to release on streaming services less than a month after its catastrophic cinematic debut

At this point, I'm kind of waiting for the Borderlands movie's redemption arc to kick in. Despite its stacked cast and many years in development, this thing has been universally declared a stinker: and not even the so-bad-it's-good kind. PCG's own Joshua Wolens found it left him pining for the original Super Mario Bros movie, the Rotten Tomatoes score stands at 10%, and the opening box office receipts were utterly dire ($16 million globally on a $145 million production / marketing budget, and that's even before the theatres take their cut).

Blizzard is still updating Heroes of the Storm on an almost monthly basis, and I just think that's nice

Pour one out for Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's belated entry into the genre that spawned from an old Warcraft mod, and the only MOBA I've ever loved. HotS is a brilliant game but arrived on the scene a little too late to make any kind of serious impact, with the field dominated then as now by League of Legends and Dota 2, and despite Blizzard's best efforts and a 2017 reboot as HotS 2.0, development began winding down: in 2022, the developer finally announced it wouldn't be creating any new content for the game.

Even Uwe Boll is dunking on the Borderlands movie fiasco—'Now you wish I directed!'

Things keep going from bad to worse for the Borderlands movie, and now it has been dealt perhaps the most cruel insult of all. Infamous film director and full-time troll Uwe Boll has come out all guns blazing at the film's reception, positively jubilant at how badly it's been received.

Russian chess player faces jail after video shows her allegedly poisoning opponent with mercury
