Nvidia has announced today that it is making big advances in the RTX Remix world, advances that will open the tech up to allow modders unprecedented control over the whole technology. But the other side of this announcement is the release of an RTX Runtime SDK that will let the developers, or anyone with access to a game's rendering pipeline, integrate all of Remix's features in any game.
Nvidia's putting itself up as the new champion of small form factor graphics cards, with a new SFF-Ready Enthusiast Graphics Card spec. This is Nvidia attempting to set a pseudo industry standard for both small form factor GPUs and chassis. The idea is to give users a clear message of what graphics cards will fit comfortable inside which chassis.

Rumoured specs for Nvidia's expected first PC CPU have started floating around the leaky corners of X, with the latest claims suggesting the green team will be plucking off-the-shelf ARM Cortex X5 cores for the processing part of its 2025 chip, all packed in along shiny new Blackwell GPU cores. The weirder rumour, however, is that Nvidia would be using Intel's own fabs to create yet another silicon nail in the x86 coffin.
There are a whole bunch of 'if only' features of the OneXPlayer X1 that could have made this interesting take on the market a genuinely great handheld gaming PC. If only the Meteor Lake silicon was efficient enough to deliver a game-changing level of handheld battery life. After the announcement yesterday of a slew of new Qualcomm-powered Windows AI laptops, with all the major notebook manufacturers getting on board, the company has today announced a new desktop PC to go with them. The new Snapdragon Dev Kit is exactly what it says it is: a little machine designed to aid developers in coding and recompiling their Windows applications natively for the new Arm-based Snapdragon CPUs.
