Path of Exile 2 early access release date revealed

Path of Exile 2’s early access release date has been confirmed as November 15, 2024.

The date was announced at the end of a new trailer, which premiered at Gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday and is viewable below.

The game will be available in early access on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

“Path of Exile 2 is a next generation free-to-play Action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, featuring co-op for up to six players,” reads a description from its developer and publisher.

“Set years after the original Path of Exile, you will return to the dark world of Wraeclast and seek to end the corruption that is spreading.

“Path of Exile 2 features a brand new campaign with six acts, 100 distinct environments, 600 monsters and 100 bosses.”

Path of Exile 2 will feature cross-play, cross-progression, and couch co-op.

“Couch co-op is something we have wanted to do for a long time” game director Jonathan Rogers said earlier this year. “Action RPGs are a genre that are way more fun with friends, and it’s even better when you can play in the same room together.”
