Palworld's Latest Buff Is Actually Ruining Your Best Items

Since release in January 2024, the game has sold millions of copies, and the franchise is growing more popular by the day. has already received a few updates since the initial release, but the latest buff is actually ruining the player's best items in the game. Despite the newest update fixing minor glitches and bugs, such as Pal's getting stuck on objects and in battle, it is affecting the durability of items.

The Palworld patch 0.1.5.0 was released on February 26th, 2024, and focused on the main areas in the game that needed updating. Base issues, Pals, network, balance adjustments, and player issues are all features that have had updates. However, when it comes to items in the inventory, it is causing issues by not updating current items that players own and is halving durability on them.

In the most recent Palworld update, the game doubled the durability of items. However, when players logged onto ,the durability of items actually got halved, rather than doubled, because the value of the items never got updated — essentially staying the same as before the new update. User Esoup on Reddit explains, ""

Although this may seem like a bad thing, many players are quite happy with this Palworld gear issue, and it may actually be better in the long run. After this patch, players don't lose items; the durability simply goes back to what it was when it was first obtained. Crafting Legendary and Epic items can be time-consuming, as players need to continuously fix and repair items. However, with this patch, Legendary Items now have overall better durability, which makes them more useful in the long run, as collecting the materials required to repair them is often hard to find.

The recent patch has also added some features and fixed other bugs in the game. Some of the elements the update has fixed are improved accuracy with adjacent objects, riding in prohibited hunting will not be seen as a crime anymore, Pals will no longer get stuck in battle or on objects, fewer
