Palworld Player Creates Impressive Base Inside Volcano

A skilled Palworld player decided to make their base inside a volcano in Mount Obsidian, achieving quite a unique result. Base-building is at the core of Palworld'sgameplay, and some creative gamers really go the extra mile when making their headquarters.

Palworld was released in early access around a month ago, and it’s already the biggest hit of 2024 so far. The Pokemon-inspired survival game has reached over 25 million players, selling around 15 million copies on Steam, and gaining the rest of its player base from Xbox, where Palworld is available via Game Pass.

Now, a Palworld player called Key_Responsibility22 created a base on top of the volcano in Mount Obsidian, sharing five pictures of their headquarters to show it from different angles. Key_Responsibility22’s base is made up of two huge stone buildings on top of a wide structure, and the gamer picked a perfect spot between two levels of lava to place the stone towers, getting a nice view of the volcano. The base’s buildings are quite high, with more than ten floors each and several balconies. Unfortunately, none of the pictures show the inside of the building, so fans are left to wonder what it looks like.

Curiously, Key_Responsibility22 described the place as their “evil lava base,” a fitting name considering that its design greatly resembles the kind of headquarters a cartoonish villain would have. The hot region is filled with various coal and sulfur deposits and can be very handy when gathering crafting materials. However, players are expected to have protection against the heat and a flying Pal to actually enjoy the benefits of the region.

There is no shortage of players who built very uncommon bases in Palworld. For instance, a player made a base that looks like an oil rig in Palworld last week. The gamer used a glitch to build a huge structure on top of the water and employed metal
