Palworld Bug Turns Penking Into a Giant Monstrosity

A Palworld player has found a particularly unusual bug in the popular monster-catching survival game, seeing their Penking unexpectedly grow to a gigantic stature. The debut of the newest game from developer Pocket Pair has seen overwhelming success following its launch, quickly becoming one of the newest sensations in gaming. Palworld boasts more than 19 million downloads between the game's Xbox and PC versions, with fans quickly flocking to the game for its unique premise and wide variety of Pals. Now, one player's Pal has fallen victim to a strange bug.

One of the biggest draws of Palworld for many of the game's early players has been the wide assortment of Pals available for players to capture. Palworld's lineup of catchable Pals features a mix of cute and cuddly creatures like Cremis and Pengullet alongside fearsome Pals like Mammorest and Jetragon. The accompanying image features a massive Penking within the game, several times the Water-type Pal's normal size. According to the user, the unusual Penking was captured in a multiplayer world with a friend where the Pal quickly became gargantuan and led to the server's unexpected crash. The user also confirmed that the bug was not caused by an in-game mod, claiming to not have any installed within their game.

The comments for the post were quickly flooded with users joking about the size of the massive Penking, referring to it by names like «Pengod» and «Pemperor.» Several users within the replies recounted similar experiences with their own Palworld worlds, unexpectedly seeing some Pals grow to colossal sizes. One fan even jokingly compared the huge bugged
