Overwatch 2 Skin Concepts Show How Cool a DC Crossover Would Be

A talented Overwatch 2 fan has created skins inspired by DC Comics characters for Hanzo, Mercy, and nine other heroes from the game. Since the original Overwatch, Blizzard has released many creative skins for the hero shooter's characters. This potential for skins expanded even further with the release of Overwatch 2, which opened the door to crossovers with famous names from pop culture for the first time.

Overwatch 2's first crossover was with the hit anime One-Punch Man, creating versions of Saitama and his disciple Genos for Doomfist and Genji, with Kiriko as Terrible Tornado and Soldier: 76 as Mumen Rider. Overwatch 2 collaborated this year with the anime Cowboy Bepop, turning Cassidy into Spike Spiegel, Ashe into Faye Valentine, Mauga into Jet Black, Sombra into Ed, and Wrecking Ball into Ein. In a very familiar collab, Overwatch 2 got some Diablo skins, giving Lilith, Inarius, Azmodan, and Imperius visuals to Moira, Pharah, Wrecking Ball, and Reinhardt. Since then, the Overwatch 2 community has been reimagining the hero roster with inventive crossover skins, such as the DC ones recently shared by a talented fan.

Reddit user buzzlymuzz created incredible skin concepts for Mercy, Genji, and nine other characters, turning them into DC Comics heroes. The fan art shared by the artist shows Mercy as Wonder Woman and Zarya as Supergirl, combining two characters known for their incredible physical strength. Next, the artist shows concepts of Batman and Green Arrow skins for Genji and Hanzo, turning the Shimada brothers into the famous DC vigilantes. Brigitte got an impressive Hawkgirl skin, with the artist taking advantage of the fact that both the Overwatch 2 support hero and Hawkgirl have similar weapons.

Redditor buzzlymuzz's fan art is notable for its attention to detail, changing Soujorn into Cyborg, Baptiste into Aquaman, Ana into The Question, and Cassidy into the Vigilante. The latest skin concept depicts D.Va's mech as Shazam, a DC hero who has already
