Overwatch 2's Transformers Collab is Its Best Yet

Blizzard’s been teasing its Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration for weeks, even releasing a comic and animated trailer, but the collab is now finally live and it’s lived up to the hype as one of the game’s most exciting collabs yet.

The collab offers four new skins based on the Transformers IP, including Optimus Prime Reinhardt, Megatron Ramattra, Arcee Illari, and Bumblebee Bastion. Bastion was a natural fit for the collab and his transformation into car form as Bumblebee makes the skin a must have.

The skins can be purchased individually or as part of a Mega Bundle. Players who’d rather not spend on the skins will still have some Transformers themed rewards to earn via play, including player icons, name cards, and titles. The Overwatch x Transformers event runs through July 22.

In addition to the collab, Blizzard has also kicked off its annual Summer Games event, offering players the ability to play in limited time game modes and acquire a variety of summer themed cosmetics and skins.

In just a few days, Overwatch 2 will get the new Quickplay: Hacked Pickable Passive on July 15. And later this month on July 23, Blizzard plans to release its first Mythic weapon with the Mythic Bound Demon Reinhardt weapon skin.
