Overwatch 2's Latest Mythic Skin Has a Cool Secret Feature

The recently-released Season 9 of Overwatch 2 has been both an exciting and controversial time for the game, but the new mythic skin it introduces brings with it a cool feature that adds to the level of quality fans feel has been missing from the game's recent mythic skins. As usual, Overwatch 2 fans won't be able to snag this new skin without first purchasing the latest season's premium battle pass, which itself offers a whole batch of freaky new skins.

Many of the new cosmetics introduced with Season 9 of Overwatch 2feature an eldritch aesthetic, with the most notable example being the new Ancient Caller mythic skin for Moira. First introduced with the very first season of Overwatch 2, these mythic-tier cosmetic items allow players limited customization of their favorite heroes' appearances, with each mythic skin introduced across the game's 9 seasons so far featuring multiple configurations and colors to try out. Some of these skins have also come with a few extra features such as unique voice lines and filters, but with many of the more recent mythic options seen as underwhelming by fans, this exclusive tier of skins has ultimately met mixed reception so far.

Moira's new mythic skin has already caught the attention of fans, though, and seems to stand out with a pretty awesome detail that players want to see more of from mythic skins. On top of the usual customization options, players equipped with this new skin will notice that it overhauls Moira's highlight intro animations in Overwatch 2.
