Overwatch 2 Confirms When Wrecking Ball Rework is Coming

Overwatch 2 recently confirmed Wrecking Ball is getting a small rework in Season 10. Players can expect this challenging Overwatch 2 Tank hero to play a little differently after Season 9 ends in early April.

Season 9 of Overwatch 2 is about halfway through its run. On March 12, the shooter is implementing a sizable midseason patch that is making adjustments to roughly half of Overwatch 2’s roster. Many of these tweaks are rebalances in response to the sweeping changes to health and projectiles at the beginning of the season.

Fans can probably expect Wrecking Ball’s rework to give him more of a field presence to allow him to better operate as the sole tank on the team in Overwatch 2.

Season 10 will also be bringing the first new Overwatch 2 hero in 2024. Venture, a subterranean explorer and the
