One Fallout 4 Perk Is Completely Overpowered If You Can't Aim & Has A Broken Description

Just because players can't aim doesn't mean that they can't get involved in some gun play in the Commonwealth. Of course, there is always the option of using a melee build with all the wacky weapons available to the Sole Survivor, but running at a Deathclaw with a pipe wrench isn't always the most appealing option. Thankfully, for those who don't play many FPS games and can't aim all too well, Bethesda supplies V.A.T.S. (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System) for players to make even the worst shots around deadly and precise assassins.

The cool thing about V.A.T.S. is that it is an in-game system provided by the Pip-Boy, and is considered a highly-advanced, but mostly lost, technology created by Vault-Tec. Although players can never tell, some enemies are capable of using V.A.T.S., such as third-generation Synth's having a similar technology in their brains thanks to the Institute. As far as the player is concerned, V.A.T.S. uses AP (which is also the Stamina stat) for its attacks, and a certain perk from a specific companion can make AP regeneration a whole lot better.

Each companion in has a Companion Perk that players can unlock and take advantage of as long as they have spent enough time with that companion. Cait, a tough cage fighter with an Irish accent, has a rather nifty Companion Perk for those that like to use V.A.T.S. It's called Trigger Rush and its description states that it regenerates AP 25% faster when the Sole Survivor is below 25% health. On paper, this sounds reasonably underwhelming, but thankfully, this is not what the perk actually does, for a reason that only Bethesda knows.

Better Perception allows for higher accuracy when using V.A.T.S. and should be considered if making a built around the targetting system.

In actuality, the Trigger Rush perk allows players to regenerate AP 50% faster while their AP is below 25%. Since V.A.T.S. uses AP to fire and this perk allows it to regenerate a great deal faster, meaning that V.A.T.S. spamming is
