October’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now live

October’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now available.

This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential titles are WWE 2K24 (PS4, PS5), Dead Space (PS5) and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! (PS4, PS5).

PlayStation Plus members can claim all three games until November 4, when they’ll be replaced by a new set of titles.

As ever, October’s Essential games are available for anyone with a PlayStation Plus membership, regardless of tier.

They will remain in the player’s library for as long as they continue to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If their subscription ends, so too will access to the games, but rejoining the service will make them available again.

September’s PlayStation Plus Essential games were Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions (PS4, PS5), MLB The Show 24 (PS4, PS5) and Little Nightmares 2 (PS4, PS5).

Sony announced last week that Dino Crisis and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain are coming to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalogue in the coming months.

Unlike PlayStation Plus Essential games, Game Catalogue’s downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.

Sony recently announced the long-anticipated Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, which will be released for PS5 and PC on October 31, 2024.

Franchise developer Guerrilla Games’ next major release will reportedly be its Horizon online game.
