November 2 Will Be a Sad Day for Meta Quest 1 Users

November 2 will be a sad day for those who have yet to upgrade from the Meta Quest 1 headset, as that's the day that Beat Saber will be ending support for the device. The original Meta Quest headset, once known as the Oculus Quest, was a big hit when it was released in 2019. Wireless virtual reality was a huge innovation at the time and did a solid job of increasing interest in the VR space.

Of course, this will require buying a brand-new VR headset, which is an expensive proposition, but newer games have been skipping the Quest 1 for years now anyway.

Some of the best modern VR games are not playable on the Meta Quest 1 headset. The most notable example is probably Asgard's Wrath 2, which is one of the highest-rated virtual reality games of all time. Asgard'
