Nintendo Switch Online Update Adds Classic GBA Game

The latest update to the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service has added the classic Game Boy Advance game F-Zero: Maximum Velocity to the list of playable titles. The Nintendo Switch Online subscription service gives subscribers access to a wide range of classic Nintendo games from a variety of console generations. Some of these games are available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers regardless of tier, while some require the Expansion Pack.

So far, 15 Game Boy Advance games have been made available to those in North America, while those in Japan and Hong Kong have all those titles plus Mother 3 and Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity was announced for Switch Online earlier this week. One of the few handheld entries in the challenging racing game franchise, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity was releasd in 2001 to mostly positive reviews. Currently, there are no new Switch Online Expansion Pack games announced, and so it's anyone's guess what else Nintendo might add to the service in the coming months.
