Newest Palworld Update Lands on Xbox

Palworld on Xbox received its second update of the week. Developer Pocket Pair recently dropped Patch 0.1.5.0 for Palworld, which addressed a wide range of issues from Pal AI to cheating and other various bugs. Now, the team is back with a slew of fixes and balance tweaks to improve gameplay and reduce crashes.

This latest Palworld update arrived for Steam users a couple of days prior, but the Xbox version was slated for release at a previously unknown time. The Xbox version of Palworld has historically lagged behind the Steam version in terms of performance and available features since its early access launch. However, Microsoft has since teamed up with Pocket Pair to aid development, presumably ensuring Palworld's Xbox iteration remains up to par. Still, Xbox fans didn't have to wait too long for the latest update, as the new patch is officially available for console and PC Game Pass players.

Palworld update 0.1.5.1 reduces various game crashes, fixes server issues, balances gameplay, and even addresses a bug in which players were unable to give Pals nicknames. Additionally, Pocket Pair has addressed some issues in Palworld's dungeons that have been plaguing players. Of course, Palworld is still in early access, so players should expect more patches before this already massive hit reaches 1.0.

In addition to bug fixes and stabilization patches, Palworld revealed its future content roadmap, which will feature PvP, raid bosses, new Pals, new areas, and crossplay. For now, however, Pocket Pair is understandably focused on polishing Palworld in its current form, so no timeline was given as to when players can expect these new features.

Even with the latest update, the Xbox version of Palworld still falls a bit short of its Steam counterpart in several different areas. For example, Palworld on Xbox lacks dedicated servers.
