New PS Plus Premium Game for April 2024 Leaked Online
It seems as though the PlayStation 1 game Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2 — The Hidden Empire is coming to the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus in April 2024. PlayStation Plus subscribers were recently treated to the reveal of the free PS Plus games for April 2024, but it will be a couple of weeks before the Extra and Premium game additions are revealed.
The free PS Plus games for April 2024 are Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer. As is usual for PS Plus, these games will be added on the first Tuesday of the month, so subscribers can mark Tuesday, April 2 on their calendars. The new PS Plus Extra and Premium games will likely be added on Tuesday, April 16 and revealed the week prior, though fans will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
The full lineup of new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2024 has yet to be revealed, but in the meantime, it seems one of the new game additions has leaked. It seems as though Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2 — The Hidden Empire, an old-school PS1 game from the mid-90s, is coming to the PS Plus Premium tier on April 16. Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2 — The Hidden Empire is a rail-shooter game set after the events of A New Hope and sees players take on the role of a Rebel Alliance soldier named Rookie One. It earned mostly mixed reviews at the time of its release, but there are no doubt nostalgic Star Wars fans that will be happy to have another opportunity to play the game.
It remains to be seen what other games will be added to the PS Plus Premium tier of PlayStation Plus in April 2024, but fans should know within a couple of weeks. But while PS Plus Premium subscribers don't know about all the new games that are coming in April 2024, they do have an idea of what to expect from the game departures next month.
