NBA 2K24 is joining Xbox Game Pass today

NBA 2K24 is getting a surprise release on Xbox Game Pass today, Microsoft has confirmed.

The game wasn’t listed as coming to Xbox’s subscription service when the platform holder announced March’s first wave of Game Pass releases last week.

But it has since confirmed that 2K’s basketball title will join the subscription service today for consoles and cloud gaming.

Titles which joined Game Pass earlier this month include Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Paw Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC).

Upcoming Game Pass titles include SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (Cloud, Console, and PC) on March 12, Control Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) on March 13, No More Heroes 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC) on March 14, Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview, Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on March 19, and MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) on March 19.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker (Cloud, Console, and PC), Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Shredders (Cloud, Console, and PC) will leave Game Pass on March 15.

Microsoft recently suggested it’s exploring the possibility of offering access to Xbox Game Pass streaming in exchange for viewing advertisements.
