MultiVersus Samurai Jack Guide: Costumes, Perks, & Moves

The latest character added to is Samurai Jack, the warrior thrown back through time who comes with a unique display of moves, perks, and costumes for you to explore. This warrior is a master of combat, using his signature sword and martial arts prowess. This time, he'll have to take on more than just the evil of Aku and adjust to a battleground full of experienced fighters.

You can unlock Samurai Jack by spending 3,000 Fighter Currency in the game's store. Samurai Jack comes as part of the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass, which can be purchased with 950 Gleamium, the game's premium currency. This is one of the fastest ways to unlock new characters fast in , but you can also get Samurai Jack through one Fighter Token or individually with 1,000 Gleamium.

A new leak regarding MultiVersus' future content plans suggests that a host of beloved Cartoon Network characters will soon join the platform fighter.

Every character in has a variety of attacks based on what button you press and the direction you are holding when you press it. Every directional input affects the move that comes from an attacking button, giving you tons of options with Samurai Jack. As you learn how to perform different attacks, you'll quickly realize that some depend on whether you are in the air or on the ground as you navigate a stage.

Samurai Jack's moves come with several Passive Traits that you can use to gain an advantage while fighting your opponents. Mental Focus is Samurai Jack's strongest Passive that builds a Focus meter as he lands attacks and is knocked back by enemies. The properties of some moves change if Jack has full Focus, powering them up but resetting the Focus meter when used.

As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Ben-Gun, the Focus meter can be seen right below Samurai Jack's health, which can be hard to see at first as you start learning how to use the character.

Focus attacks also deal Weaken, a status effect that causes enemy characters to take more damage.
