Mortal Kombat 1 DLC character Takeda stars in new gameplay trailer

Warner has released a new Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay trailer featuring upcoming DLC fighter Takeda Takahashi.

It showcases Takeda’s Shirai Ryu inspired moveset, including his ability to use serrated whips, explosive kunai projectiles and teleportation.

Takahashi will join the game on July 23 for Kombat Pack owners, ahead of the DLC’s general release on July 30.

New DLC Kameo Fighter Ferra will also be available for Kombat Pack owners and standalone purchase on July 23.

Upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters could include the T-1000, Conan the Barbarian, Ghostface, Cyrax, Sektor and Noob Saibot, according to a recent datamine.
