Monster Hunter Stories 2 Coming to Unexpected Platform

Capcom just made a surprise announcement that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, a game it had released originally for the Nintendo Switch and PC, is coming to PlayStation—but to PS4, not PS5. Fans who preorder the game will get a special bonus Kamura Maiden outfit for Ena, and those who have an existing Monster Hunter Rise save will also get additional perks and items. There will also be a deluxe edition of the game with even more bonuses.

One Twitter user commented that the PS4 hardware would be a perfect spot for the game to bring back its anime-influenced art style. Since there seem to still be a lot of gamers who remain on PS4, Monster Hunter Stories 2 coming to the platform is
