Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded detailed

Activision has detailed Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

Launching on June 26 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST, the mid-season update will add a new multiplayer map and modes, plus fresh Zombies and Warzone content.

A selection of the new content included in the update is showcased in the Season 4 Reloaded launch trailer viewable below.

On the multiplayer front, the update will add Incline, a mid-sized snow map based around a research outpost and transit facility in the mountains of Urzikstan.

New modes will include the returning Havoc, Headshots Only, and Mutation, with the latter arriving as part of the game’s Altered Strain event.

“Once the chaos begins, both teams must defeat the opposing side in a variety of tactical, or grotesque ways,” Activision said. “Teams switch sides at halftime; humans become mutants and mutants become humans. The team with the highest score wins.”

The new Bit Party Playlist modifier will also arrive in Season 4 Reloaded, featuring a pixel-art inspired version of Favela called Bitvela.

“The larger your Operator’s head, the more points you’ll earn for eliminating enemies in Team Deathmatch, picking up tags in Kill Confirmed, and holding the objective in Hardpoint. In Domination, bigger heads capture flags more quickly.”

The Vortex: Mosh Pit playlist will include a new Das Gross map variant too.

Zombies is adding a new wave-based combat challenge in the form of Unstable Rifts. Several can appear per match and squads have to race to be the first to enter them.

“Upon entering an Unstable Rift, Operators will face off against increasingly intense waves of enemies until completing the challenge or failing in the attempt,” according to Activision.

“Completing an Unstable Rift resets the cooldown on all of your insured weapons and schematics,
