Minecraft Player Builds a Walmart in the Game

A Minecraft player has built an incredibly accurate replica of a Walmart in their world. Minecraft gamers have made replicas of real-world locations since the game was released, but this may be the most accurate Walmart to be created.

Since Minecraft Creative mode was released, players have unleashed their imagination thanks to the limitless materials offered in the game mode. This has resulted in incredible builds like a library that holds every Enchantment in the game, a photo-realistic battleship, and Redstone-powered mini-games like Guitar Hero. Gamers can still make impressive things in Survival mode, but the requirement of finding the materials themselves slows the process down significantly. One player has made an impressive Walmart replica that looks nearly identical to some of the retail locations found around the world.

Reddit user AlpineBuilds recently shared an image of their Minecraft Walmart build from the parking lot perspective. The massive blue building is accurately shaped like a Walmart, but the central logo above the doors makes the replica obvious to most onlookers. There are three height levels for the shopping center, with the highest point above the logo, and the second highest being on either side of it. The image doesn't fit the full building as it extends beyond the player's perspective of the flat Minecraft area. There's a huge parking lot in the foreground of the screenshot, and it's full of white vehicles that appear identical to each other. This uniform color scheme adds a slightly eerie effect to the otherwise accurate depiction of a Walmart.

While some players could make a similar build with Wool and dyed Wool, this Walmart and its parking lot appear to be made of different colored Concrete. Players can create Minecraft Concrete by placing Concrete Powder in water to solidify the substance. Concrete Powder can be obtained by mixing 4 Sand with 4 Gravel in a Crafting Table.
