Minecraft Fan Shows How Strange The Game Gets After Walking 10 Million Blocks

A Minecraft player walked over 10 million blocks, posting images that showed how weird Mojang's game gets after that. Minecraft is known for having gigantic world maps, offering countless hours of fun due to its procedural terrain generation. Add that to the dozens of biomes that Minecraft has, and players will always have something to do.

The dimensions of the Minecraft map are impressive, reaching 1.5 billion square miles, making the sandbox world eight times the size of the Earth. Compared to other games, Minecraft's map surpasses equally well-known titles like The Crew, Final Fantasy 15, and Death Stranding. While it is possible to go very far in Minecraft, as the game's map is technically infinite, it is a daunting task, as the player would need to survive for long periods of time without a fixed base. But one curious player took on the mission of walking an incredible number of Minecraft blocks, showing what happened when they got there.

Reddit user Both-Challenge-3204 walked over 10 million blocks in Minecraft, which resulted in a bugged terrain generation. The first two images shared show a ravine where players can see the lower layers, including lava, even though the OP is high up, as well as passages and several waterfalls. Another image shows that Minecraft generated a village nearby, but the bugged terrain caused the floor to have parts missing. As a result, the village's structures are disconnected, with just a bit of ground as if they were platforms. The final image shows a deformed brewing stand, with its shape larger than normal.

Players were intrigued by how inaccurate Minecraft's terrain generation becomes after walking so far. Because of this, some comments recalled the Far Lands, a popular feature that once existed in Minecraft. The Far Lands were a terrain generation bug that created an «end of the world» after players walked 12.5 million blocks. Minecraft removed the Far Lands a few years ago, replacing it with the world border, the most extreme
