Minecraft's cake is just one example of the dozens upon dozens of food options available to survival mode players, though it stands out as a food item that can be placed as a block in the world — making it just as useful a decorative item to spruce up a home as it is a method of keeping the hunger bar full.

Minecraft's cake effortlessly stands out as one of the most iconic cakes within the entire realm of gaming, sitting right at the top alongside the infamous Black Forest cake from the original Portal. While Minecraft's cuboid cake isn't all that complex in terms of decoration or appearance, it has nonetheless become one of the many iconic objects that have arisen from the sandbox game. Minecraft's status as the most highly-grossing video game of all time, paired with its massive appeal to fans of all ages around the world, it's perhaps not too surprising that many of its items, mobs, and blocks have become recognizable everywhere to gamers and non-gamers alike.
