Lucky Palworld Player Finds Extremely Rare Schematic
Finding the best schematics in Palworld can be a matter of chance, as one lucky player learned when they obtained the extremely rare Legendary Assault Rifle 4 schematic. After posting about the find, they received many comments regarding the rarity of schematic drops in Palworld.
Schematics allow players to build advanced weapons in Palworld. Rare schematics are difficult to obtain due to having a single method of dropping, often by catching or defeating a specific Alpha Pal. While other schematics can be found in chests, the Legendary schematics are exclusive loot drops for Alpha Pals. On top of that, the rates these plans appear at are very low, causing some players to face the same boss multiple times to obtain the item.
Without using mods, Reddit user Glass-Neck-5929 posted on the r/Palworld subreddit that they scored not one, but two, copies of the Legendary Assault Rifle 4 schematic, one of the rarest in the game. The schematic allows players to build one of the strongest weapons in Palworld, but it can only be obtained from the Alpha Blazamut found in one of the game's mineshafts. Not only did Glass-Neck-5929 get two copies of the item, but the schematics dropped after the first battle against the Alpha Pal.
Glass-Neck-5929 did state in their post that the drop rate setting for items was on max, increasing the chance of rare schematics dropping. Even with the increased drop rate, getting the Legendary Schematic on the first try is extremely lucky. Typically, players will need to grind through Palworld to reach Alpha Blazamut's mineshaft home, catch it, and sometimes butcher it with a Meat Cleaver to double the chance of getting the item. Often, this process will have to be repeated at least a few times before the plan drops.
