Lady Gaga is coming to Fortnite

Lady Gaga is teasing an upcoming Fortnite collaboration.

Following in the footsteps of The Weeknd, the singer-songwriter appears set to be the second featured artist in Fortnite’s new free-to-play music game Fortnite Festival, which was released in December.

Developed by Rock Band studio Harmonix, which Epic Games acquired in 2021, Fortnite Festival is a music game where players can perform in a band with friends or play solo with tracks from popular artists.

For its debut season, Epic released a The Weeknd skin, a handful of the artist’s songs were made available to play, and the music video for the single Popular debuted exclusively in the game.

Lady Gaga teased her upcoming Fortnite collaboration with a message on X, which quoted an infamous tweet she made in 2019, in which she asked her followers “What’s Fortnight”.

Season 2 of Fortnite Festival launches on February 22, when players can expect the collaboration to be officially revealed.

Disney announced this month that it’s investing $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games.

It was also revealed that the companies have teamed up to build a new universe connected to Fortnite that will let users “play, watch, shop and engage” with content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar.
