After the cancelation of the event due to the COVID lockdowns and other factors in recent years, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) finally announced that the expo that once offered a space for developers and publishers to showcase their upcoming games and hardware to members of the industry and the public would not be returning after a nearly 30-year run in December 2023.
