In his latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman has shared details on the iPhone 17 'Air' and what it could bring to the table for users, considering it will not boast amazing specifications as the 'Pro' models despite being priced higher. He also shared that the device will be oriented towards users who are more into the looks of the handsets than the processing power or performance as a whole. This means that the fourth iteration of the iPhone, in terms of its design, will target a very specific niche and that it will not be for everyone.

Gurman also shared that the iPhone 17 'Air' will be a big success and will bring "meaningful growth" to the iPhone. He also expects that the iPhone 17 'Air' will be a bigger hit than the 'mini' iPhones as well as the Plus-branded iPhones, but it remains to be seen how the category performs in the real world. This is because the sales of the 'mini' and the 'Plus' have been below expectations and the benchmark is
