Intel Lunar Lake CPU-Powered Laptops To Hit Retail Later This Year But They Will Be In Relatively Lower Quantities Until Early 2025

Intel's next-gen Lunar Lake CPUs will be the follow-up to Meteor Lake "Core Ultra" chips and will be hitting retail in late 2024. The CPUs have a lot to talk about such as new CPU cores, new GPU cores, faster AI performance, and unique SoC designs which have been previously detailed here.

For those waiting to get a new laptop, Intel Lunar Lake CPUs aim to be a very competitive product with the blue team referring to higher performance per watt, efficiency, and faster AI performance to hype up its upcoming product. However, it looks like the mass market will have to wait till 2025 to get their hands on these brand-new laptops as reported by Golden Pig Upgrade on Weibo.

The leaker and hardware insider is known to keep a good tab on the latest mobility developments and has been correct on countless previous occasions. This time it is reported that Intel will be following the same EEP (Early Enablement Program) as it did with its Meteor Lake lineup.

The EEP initiative is to enable certain OEMs and markets to have access to the latest CPUs much earlier than the rest to meet launch deadlines and market readiness.
