Intel CEO, Pat Gelsinger, is going to showcase next-gen client and data center CPUs during the Computex 2024's opening keynote in June.

Intel Arrow Lake, Granite Rapids, Sierra Forest To Be Unveiled During Computex 2024 Keynote By CEO Pat Gelsinger

The Computex pre-hype is heating up as AMD and Intel CEO's have been announced to be among the opening keynote speakers. While AMD will be presenting the opening keynote for Computex 24, Intel CEO will also be a speaker during the opening segment where he will be presenting the next-gen products from the company.

In its press release, TAITRA mentions that Intel's CEO, Pat Gelsinger, will be using Computex 2024's opening keynote as a stage to showcase the next generation of data center and client computing products which mainly include CPUs. There will be a big focus on AI this year too as the segment continues to expand into various domains, powered by various devices.

No specific client or data center product is mentioned in the press release but we know that there are at least 2 client and 2 data center CPU families that Intel is expected to roll out this year. The most obvious are the Arrow Lake and Sierra Forest chips which will hit the market first. The Arrow Lake CPUs are likely going to come out to desktops first on the new LGA 1851 socket and Sierra Forest is already said to release before Granite Rapids P-Core Xeon CPUs. The Arrow Lake CPUs will utilize the Intel 20A process while Sierra Forest will utilize the Intel 3 process.

Meanwhile, Granite Rapids for servers and Lunar Lake CPUs for thin and light client notebooks are also positioned for a late 2024 release. The keynote will take place on the 4th of June which is just 3 months away from now so expect loads of announcements from the big three and the rest of the manufacturing community in the hardware world.
