Impressive Art Gives Demon Slayer's Inosuke a Pokemon Team

A fan artist recently gave the Demon Slayer character Inosuke Hashibara a Pokemon team in their newest art piece. Pokemon and Demon Slayer are very popular Japanese franchises, and it’s always exciting for fans to see the community coming up with these crossovers.

Inosuke is one of Demon Slayer’s main characters, alongside Tanjiro Kamado, his sister Nezuko, and their companion Zenitsu Agatsuma. He’s one of the most popular characters in the series, mostly due to how his short-tempered, proud nature often ends up being used for comic relief.

Now, a Demon Slayer fan called xthememoryshopx decided to give Inosuke a Pokemon team in their latest fan art, picking Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Meowth, Primeape, Scyther, and Kabutops as the character’s line-up. The black-and-white art piece shared by xthememoryshopx comes in two forms, a shaded one with a dark background, and another with a white one. One interesting detail of this fan work is that, apart from Meowth’s joyful face as they play with a ball of wool, all the other Pokemon look as angry as Inosuke. Overall, these feel like good picks, as big, aggressive monsters such as Scyther and Primeape are right at home with Inosuke’s personality and fighting style.

Last month, xthememoryshopx also picked a Pokemon team for Demon Slayer’s protagonist Tanjiro. In this earlier artwork, Tanjiro is featured among Water-type creatures, including Squirtle, Blastoise, Gyarados, Psyduck, and Poliwrath.

Other artists have created fan art inspired by Pokemon and Demon Slayer, too. Last month, a fan reimagined Snorlax as a Demon Slayer character. In this artwork, the Gen 1 Pokemon was featured wearing the traditional clothing from the Demon Slayer Corps and using a weapon that seemed like a modified version of a Japanese kama. The Normal-type creature also seemed slimmer than usual, and agile enough to use as a double-edged weapon, which would be unusual for Snorlax.

Back in May, another Pokemon-Demon Slayer unofficial crossover design was
