If You Pay Attention To This Number In Helldivers 2, You May Be Seriously Missing Out

For those looking to collect as many Samples as possible in , paying attention to this number will make players miss out. Samples are a crucial part of as they allow Helldivers to level up every asset in their armory. These upgrades to Stratagems can drastically change how successful higher-tier missions are, which are the ideal content for most aspects of the game. Samples are likely to become even more significant when future content follows 's mechs in coming to the game.

Samples are split up into three types: Common, Rare, and Super. Common and Rare are found at most difficulties but in mass at the higher levels. Super Samples can only be found at the three highest difficulties but will only come in small amounts. The trade-off for this is the current upgrades that require Super Samples only need 10 at max. Overall, farming Samples in is not the hardest objective if players stay aware of their surroundings, but there is a way to maximize this process.

Thanks to Reddit user Gek_Laffort, Helldivers now know that the sample counter on the top right of their screen during a mission isn't entirely accurate. Their image shows that their team collected 30 Rare Samples, while the counter says only 28 are available. It has been discovered from this that thenumber on the counter only represents the number of Samples that can be found occurring naturally on the planet. This includes flowers, crystals, and robotic parts commonly found scattered throughout the environment.

This does not include Samples found in blue and orange containers at minor points of interest. Though these boxes make the number of acquired Samples rise, they are considered bonus Samples as it pertains to the counter. There is no exact number of how many are included on a map, but based on the usual number found during missions, it is likely around five to 10. However, these bonus Samples do not extend to Super Samples, as those still need to be found naturally during missions.

A good way to help find
