Of course, there is an easier way to grow some essential crops once seasons change and fortunately, it hasn't been impacted by the recent 1.6 Update.

Posting to Reddit, user ButterscotchEven6198 asked whether planting Grass Starters on the last day of winter will ensure that massive fields of fresh grass automatically spawn once spring rears its head.

Users were quick to confirm that the strategy, which has been used by many to quickly generate a large amount of hay in time for spring, does work with the 1.6 Update. One user stated that despite having over 1,000 hours in, they weren't aware that the Grass Starter could be grown so quickly with the seasonal «hack,» and noted that they're eager to try it once the end of winter rolls around in their game.
