How To Unlock Photo Mode In Astro Bot

Though Photo Mode seems like a given these days, players may have a little trouble finding 's photo mode. That's because it isn't provided by default; it must be unlocked. Unfortunately, the requirements for unlocking photo mode can take some time to complete, so you probably won't be able to do it before making some decent progress in the game.

While traversing the various levels of, you'll likely begin to encounter some puzzle pieces. There's a handful on most levels, and the more puzzle pieces you find, the more features you can unlock. Since you can't choose what you unlock first, you'll have to wait until you've unlocked all the features available before photo mode.

As you collect puzzle pieces, you'll unlock various things, such as the wardrobe, where you can dress like some of the cameo characters in , and eventually, Safari Park. Safari Park is where players can finally access photo mode in . The three items you must complete before you can begin the Safari Park puzzle are the Gacha Game, Dual Speeder Garage, and Changing Room, as seen in ZaFrostPet's video.

Screen Rant speaks with Astro Bot's Principal Animation Director to discuss how Team ASOBI translates classic Sony characters to cute robots.

Once you have enough pieces to unlock Safari Park, you'll be given a brief tutorial on how Photo Mode works in. It's pretty straightforward: Simply press up on your D-pad, and you'll enter Photo Mode, where you can begin to manipulate your picture however you would like, including changing the framing and adjusting the focus. Don't forget that this is not a screenshot, so you will not need to open the capture menu to take the photo.

While photographing, you'll see the UI giving you instructions on the controls of photo mode but don't worry about trying to hide this before snapping a photo. Unlike other games, the UI will be automatically hidden once the photo is taken.

From here on out, you'll be free to use Photo Mode freely in this fast, frantic, and fun
